Heavyweight Wrestling from Washington was the first weekly televised wrestling program produced by Capitol Wrestling Corporation (CWC), a regional National Wrestling Alliance member and precursor to the WWWF. The show debuted on January 5, 1956, and was hosted by Bill Malone, Morris Siegel, and Ray Morgan, with tapings held at the Capital Arena in Washington, D.C. It aired until September 1971, when Vincent J. McMahon moved television tapings to eastern Pennsylvania and replaced it with WWWF's All-Star Wrestling.
