Heavyweight Wrestling from Washington was the first weekly televised wrestling program produced by the Capitol Wrestling Corporation (CWC), a regional National Wrestling Alliance member and precursor to the WWWF. The show debuted on January 5, 1956, and was taped at the Capital Arena in Washington, D.C., with hosting duties held by Bill Malone, Morris Siegel, and Ray Morgan over the years. It aired until September 1971, when Vincent J. McMahon moved television tapings to eastern Pennsylvania and replaced the program with WWWF's All-Star Wrestling.
