ECW on TNN

ECW on TNN made its historic debut on August 27, 1999, marking exactly five years since Shane Douglas threw down the NWA World Heavyweight Championship and rechristened the promotion as Extreme Championship Wrestling. Produced by ECW and airing on The Nashville Network, the show was the only national television program in ECW's history. Created by Paul Heyman, it presented original ECW matches on Friday nights until its final episode on October 6, 2000.
