AWA SuperClash II

AWA SuperClash II took place on May 2, 1987, at the Cow Palace in Daly City, California, and was promoted as the AWA's most important show of the year. The event featured mainly AWA wrestlers, with the main event seeing Curt Hennig defeat Nick Bockwinkel for the AWA World Heavyweight Championship, marking Hennig's only world championship victory. Six additional matches were taped for television and aired on the AWA's weekly TV shows in the weeks that followed.
