Jim Crockett Promotions was a cornerstone of the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) and one of the two largest wrestling promotions in the United States during the 1980s. The promotion would later evolve into World Championship Wrestling (WCW) following a sale to Turner Broadcasting System in 1988.
