AWA Super Sunday, aired on 24.04.1983, was a major closed-circuit supercard event promoted by the American Wrestling Association. The main event saw Hulk Hogan challenge AWA World Champion Nick Bockwinkel for his title, while the card also featured the legendary Verne Gagne coming out of retirement. Rod Trongard provided commentary with Mean Gene Okerlund serving as ring announcer.
