John Charles Layfield, professionally known as John Bradshaw Layfield (JBL), was born on November 29, 1966, in Sweetwater, Texas, United States. Standing 6'5" (195 cm) tall and weighing 287 lbs (130 kg), Layfield became one of WWE's most notable Heavyweight Champions during the early 2000s. He began his wrestling career in various promotions before joining WCW and later ECW, where he gained significant experience and recognition. Layfield's most prominent tenure was in WWE, where he held multiple championships including the WWE Heavyweight Championship and was known for his dominant in-ring presence and microphone skills.
