AEW Dynamite is AEW’s flagship television show and premiered in 2019. The program played a major role in establishing AEW as a serious mainstream alternative to WWE. Dynamite combines fast-paced in-ring action, long-term storytelling, and a more sports-oriented wrestling style with a modern television presentation. Stars such as Kenny Omega, MJF, Jon Moxley, Chris Jericho, and Hangman Adam Page helped shape the identity of the show. The mix of international wrestling styles and greater creative freedom made Dynamite especially popular among fans. Today, the series is considered the central foundation of the AEW product.
